Chapter Synopsis of The League of Light© by JN Reynolds

Chapter Three Synopsis
Zarya heads back to her family in
Wales.  Hoping she can find some answers to what has just happened to her.  The anguish and urgency she feels is not helped by the hostile greeting she gets from her family or her mother 'Angie' when she arrives.  The persistant and terrifying blackness which engulfs Zarya each night as she settles into sleep is only broken by the sound of a spider as it sits above her bed.  What ever occured in Vancouver and what ever Zarya managed to do, followed her to Wales and has left her on the brink of death.

Fourth Chapter Synopsis.
Zarya has been in
Wales a few short weeks when her mother Angie decides to call her cousin Tracy.  Tracy lives in Swansea and has come to visit Angie on several occasions with her husband Mike.  Angie talks non-stop about Tracy being a very good 'psychic'.  It leaves Zarya nervous and apprehensive.  When Zarya does finally speak with Tracy, Zarya gets more than she bargains for and is told about what she has gone through and warned about what she is doing - the 'mixing and matching of magics'.  Zarya is shaken to the core by Tracy's understanding of what is happening.  However, Zarya is not convinced until Tracy tells her that she shouldn't trust her mother.  It is only when after the conversation is over, does Angie ask if Tracy told her not to trust her. With a slow understanding of the awakening, does Zarya realize that there might be something else going on.

Fifth Chapter Synopsis

After having spoken with Tracy, Zarya finds herself at the centre of a brewing storm.  With out realizing how much danger she is in, Zarya goes right back to her ceremonies and rituals she learned while in Vancouver.  But, just as she is about to start - a mysterious wind blows through the room. Zarya simply stops what she is doing and packs up destroys the materials being used.  Angie is having none of it, and tries to find out what was said in the conversation with Tracy.  With Zarya being attacked by something that was brought back to Wales from Vancouver and Angie's suspicions and verbal attackes, Zarya feels there is no way out of the nightmare situation until she decides to head to the Cairn and ancient stone circle at the head of the valley.

What readers have to say about The League of Light© by JN Reynolds

A good read, but don't read it alone, scary!

Enjoyed the book and how the subject matter got me thinking about what I do as a person

Found it page turning, exasperating, exciting, showed reality in a way that movies can't. Makes me also to want to know more about the League of Light and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next.

A really good read, can't wait for the next instalment.

Thought provoking!

Intriguing!

Some of the research for The League of Light took approximately 7 years, but some research goes further back.  check out the article http://www.eh2r.com/stonehenge/page6.html for further information on the stone circles and the observations made.

The Clan Symbol

The Past, Present and Future.  The symbol for the League of Light, and clan symbol was made in Swansea South Wales.  Swansea is on the Gower Peninsular.  It was part of, and still is to some extent, an ancient net work of observatories.  The ancients worshiped the sun and the moon as part of their rituals.  Further explanation is found in my book The League of Light (c) by JN Reynolds.

About the League of Light
